03/16/2020- It’s one of the biggest events of the year for Menominee High School Athletics, but it doesn’t take place on a field, track, or court. Tickets are now on sale now for the annual induction banquet for the latest round of athletes selected to the Menominee High School Athletic Hall of Fame being planned for May 2nd at Menominee’s Riverside Golf Club. There are eight people in this year’s class and Event Organizer John Wills says they were selected not only for their contributions to local sports, but to their community, as well.
Wills says a committee carefully considers and selects each year’s inductees, but nomination of those individuals is largely up to the public.
Tickets for the Menominee High School Athletics Hall of Fame induction banquet are $25 apiece and can be purchased at the Superintendent’s Office at Blesch Intermediate School. Cocktail hour begins at 4:30, dinner is at 6, and the induction ceremony will start at about 7:15.
