At 3:12pm on Friday, January 17th, Marinette Country Dispatch received a report of a two-vehicle crash on US Highway 141 near County Highway K in the Town of Amberg, with one subject being reported as trapped underneath the vehicle. The investigation shows that a vehicle operated by Aiden P. Vanpembrook, 22, of Green Bay was traveling north on US Highway 141. Another vehicle being operated by Russell L. Reynolds, 58, of Wausaukee pulled out from a private driveway and onto US highway 141 to travel south, and the two vehicles collided. The impact of the crash ejected Reynolds, who lacked a seatbelt, causing fatal injuries. Failure to yield the right of way appears to have been a factor in the crash that remains under investigation by the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office. Also assisting Marinette County Deputies at the scene were members of the Amberg Fire Department, Wausaukee Fire Department, Wausaukee Rescue, and Integrity Paramedics Intercept.
