11/15/2019- Businesses, organizations, and families are invited to get in the holiday spirit with the City of Marinette through their annual Adopt a Tree program. The City is again looking for groups to decorate the trees on Stephenson Island for the season. Decorating starts next week and a bucket truck will be on site November 19th and 20th beginning at 3:15 p.m. to assist participants. All trees and displays must be registered at the Marinette Welcome Center to be entered to win the Best Overall Display traveling trophy and bragging rights. While groups need to supply their own heavy-duty electrical cord, timers will be provided and synchronized so all trees will be lit simultaneously each evening.
