National Night Out is an annual event that the City of Marinette and the Marinette Police Department organize in August of every year. This year the event is being held on Tuesday, August 3rd at the Community REC Center in Marinette. Marinette Police Officer Greg Haemker says, “we will have all of the area police agencies, along with fire trucks, local ambulances, and many activities for the kids.”

Haemker says, “this is just a big community event.”

Not only will there be activities for the kids the Community REC Center will be offering free ice skating for families during the event. The hockey association will also be offering food for sale during the hours of the event. National Night Out runs from 4pm – 8pm tomorrow, Tuesday, August 3rd at the Community REC Center in Marinette.
