04/26/2019- A multi-jurisdictional law enforcement effort is underway to locate a missing Appleton man who may be in Oconto County. Authorities say 22-year-old Nicholas Hietpas’ car was found near Highway 64 in the Town of Doty. Hietpas himself has not been heard from since April 1st. He may be wearing a black sweatshirt with green lettering, jeans, and brown work boots. It’s also possible he’s in the company of a white German Shepard. Anyone with information on Hietpas’ whereabouts is asked to contact the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office or the Appleton Police Department.
