08/20/2019- Hundreds of local kids are better prepared heading back to school thanks to generous donations from residents, businesses, and organizations in our area. Representatives with the St. Vincent de Paul in Marinette reports they distributed 300 backpacks filled with supplies to children from 143 families in the Marinette and Peshtigo School Districts this year. That distribution comes following a community-wide Back 2 School collection effort, as well as grants from several non-profit organizations. St. Vincent de Paul will continue to assist families with back to school needs until the new academic year begins. To request assistance or get information about making a donation, call 715-735-9100.
