09/13/2018- Decorations at graves in Marinette’s Forest Home, Calvary, Congregation Motifiore, Sons of Jacob, and Woodlawn Cemeteries will need to be removed before next month. According to the City Clerk, the deadline will allow the Department of Public Works to conduct their fall clean-up activities in a timely manner. In addition to taking down decorations, perennials must be cut off at the ground level and flag holders, bronze military emblems, and shepherd’s hooks must also be removed. Any decorations that have not been removed by October 1st will be disposed of by cemetery personnel. The City will make an announcement when winter decorations may be placed in November. Any decorations placed at City-owned cemeteries before then will be removed.
