11/30/2018- A Marinette County Christmas tree farm is making sure no military family is without a tree this year. It’s the 13th year North Countree Christmas in Wausaukee has donated to the nationwide Trees for Troops program. North Countree partner, Paul Schroeder, says the farm donated about 50 Christmas trees this year. Those trees were loaded up with others from tree farms across Wisconsin earlier this week and are headed to Texas to be distributed to active duty military families stationed there. In 2017, the Trees for Troops program delivered more than 17-thousand Christmas trees to 70 US military bases and 250 trees to four international bases.
