08/14/2018- Charges are filed against a Peshtigo man accused of leading police on a brief chase in May. 19-year-old Dylan Riedy made his initial appearance in Marinette County Court Monday. He’s facing one felony count of 2nd Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety after he was allegedly caught driving nearly 90 miles an hour along Highway 180 in the Town of Wagner. When the officer attempted a traffic stop, Riedy turned off of 180 and increased his speed to up to 100 miles an hour. Riedy eventually pulled over and the officer could smell intoxicants on him. He blew a 0.192 in a preliminary breath test. Riedy had a passenger in the vehicle at the time. That passenger also agreed to a preliminary breath test and blew 0.00. Riedy is due back in court for an adjourned initial appearance September 18th.
