03/17/2018–Area residents are being urged to shop local on this St. Patrick’s Day. 30 local businesses in Marinette, Menominee, and Peshtigo are participating in the St Patrick’s Day Shop Local Extravaganza. Many of those businesses are having special events today. All will have in store drawings, with all the entries eligible for a grand prize. Laura Rowe of Stephenson National Bank, which is the sponsor of the event explains why is makes sense to shop local.
