Tyco recently received the green light from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) to implement its Groundwater Extraction and Treatment System (GETS). The contractor recently began removing soil containing PFAS stored at the Fire Technology Center (FTC). To share details concerning these actions to remove PFAS that came to these operations, Tyco is hosting a public meeting on Tuesday, June 29th at 6pm via zoom. A presentation will be given by the GETS Senior Engineer from Geosyntec, and questions will be answered by members of the Tyco team. If you cannot meet virtually the presentation and other information will be available online at tycomarinette.com
