Masking and precautionary measures to ward against COVID-19 are beginning to work in the Menominee Area School District. In an update to the Menominee School Board Tuesday evening, Interim Superintendent, Pete Mayhew says, “I compared November 4th through November 16th and the COVID cases across Menominee County are still high.”

For now, the school board will keep the current mask policy in place until their meeting in January. At that time, the board will determine whether they will keep the current policy in place or decide to make masking optional.
