The Michigan State Police (MSP) Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force has arrested 32 year-old Aaron Kuchinka of Menominee, for aggravated child sexually abusive material. The investigation was initiated when a tip was received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).

As a result of the investigation, multiple internet capable devices and evidence were seized from his home. Reasonable suspicion for child abuse was established during the search of Kuchinka’s home and confirmed after further investigation.

Kuchinka has been charged with three counts of child abuse second degree, one count of child sexually abusive activity – aggravated, 34 counts of child sexually abusive material – aggravated possession, 10 years in prison for each count of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, and up to 20 years in prison for each count of using a computer to commit a crime.
