Registered voters in Faithhorn Township will see a proposal on the ballot to increase the Norway – Vulcan Area School District sinking fund millage. The proposal asks voters to approve an increase in the tax levy limit to 2 mills ($2 on each $1,000 of taxable valuation) for the 10-year period ending 2031 to create a sinking fund. If approved, the fund would be used for the construction and repair of school buildings, security improvements, purchasing and upgrading technology, and other purposes authorized by law. The school district would collect just over $378,000 in 2022.
