The M&M Community Foundation is holding a Safeguarding Our Communities program training at noon on Tuesday, June 8th at the Bridgeview Apartments in Menominee. This training program provides an overview of opioids, suggests actions to address problems, demonstrates how to administer Narcan and highlights the Syringe Service Programs run by local health departments. Community Foundation Executive Director, Paula Gruszynski says, “it is about the community effort to address the opioid crisis.”

Gruszynski says, “this will be an hour-long seminar.”

Those attending the program are eligible to receive a free Personal Medical Lock Box, as well as Narcan treatments from the Community Foundation. To register for the training, community members should contact the Community Foundation at 906-864-35-99.
