On the 4th of July, fireworks burst across the skies and bombard our senses and this year will be even more special given that most of the COVID restrictions have eased. In Marinette County communities are celebrating on various days beginning with Goodman on July 2, Wausaukee on July 3, Crivitz, and Pembine on July Fourth. In Menominee County, the American Legion Post 156 located on first street will be holding a 4th of July party beginning at 11am on July 3rd with bouncy houses for the kids along with a free meal. There will be music by Raw Honey from 5pm – 8pm as well as brats, hamburgers and refreshments, bucket and 50/50 raffles. Stephenson will be celebrating on July fourth with a parade and music and fireworks at dusk. In Powers-Spalding on July 4th they will hold their festivities at Veterans Park with a parade, food, refreshments, truck pull at noon, fishing derby at 1pm, and live music. Hermansville will be celebrating on July 3rd at Hermansville Lake Park with food, games, music, refreshments and fun! Bark River will be holding their Fourth of July celebration at the Bark River Sports Park with the parade starting at noon. They will also have music, food and refreshments.
