Those purchasing season-long passes to visit their favorite Marinette County parks and waterfalls will have to shell out a little more cash in 2021. The County Board Tuesday approved increasing the fee for annual stickers from $20 to $25 and the discounted rate for County employees, veterans, and seniors from $10 to $12 per vehicle. Day use entrance fees, however, will remain the same. Officials say the increase in annual passes will help fund additional park upgrades. Additionally, electric campsites at County-owned campgrounds will go from $25 nightly to $30 a night. As larger campers and RVs become more common, the County says that adjustment to campsite rates will help offset the additional power these units typically require.
