08/23/2018- The challenger in last week’s primary election for Marinette County Clerk of Courts now says she’ll run as a write-in candidate in the November election. Carrie Brazeau lost to incumbent Sheila Dudka by 53 votes in the August 14th primary. However, she notes that she won the vote in 20 of the county’s 28 districts. This week, Brazeau filed a formal letter of intent announcing herself as a write-in candidate for the November 6th general election. She says the decision was not taken lightly, but that it comes after numerous conversations with supporters, campaign members, and courthouse staff.
