CASA of Menominee/Marinette is working to create prevention – oriented communities by delivering an award – winning training to adults throughout Menominee and Marinette Counties. CASA has joined forces with Darkness to Light, a prominent national not – for – profit organization dedicated to preventing child abuse. Executive Director of CASA and Darkness to Light Facilitator Faith Sandahl says, “we are so excited to be offering this incredible training to the community. Attendees have provided such positive feedback; we’ve even had people take it twice to get as much out of it as possible. We look forward to mobilizing more of the Marinette/Menominee community with the power to keep children safe.”

Sandahl says, “CASA of Menominee/Marinette began delivering Darkness to Light’s Stewards of Children in January. To date, 16 adults have been trained.”

CASA in Menominee will host the upcoming Darkness to Light training on May 23rd at 5pm, but local agencies, businesses, and other interested organizations can also arrange the training for their employees or volunteers. You can sign up online at or by contacting Faith Sandahl at 715-923-7250 or to arrange a training in your organization.
