11/06/2018- How much do you know about the dozens of non-profit organizations that serve the region? The M&M Area Community Foundation is hosting their first Celebrate Community! Day on Sunday, November 18th, to showcase these types of organizations and allow residents to learn more about the local programs and projects that impact the community. Paula Gruszynski is the Executive Director of the Community Foundation and says the event will be held in conjunction with Menominee’s Old World Christmas Market.
Guests will not only find out about all Marinette and Menominee Counties have to offer, but they can win one of a number of prizes donated by area businesses who Gruszynski says were more than happy to pitch in.
Almost 30 non-profits, churches, and schools have signed up to take part in Celebrate Community! Day. The event will be held at the Menominee Marina from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM.
