10/29/2018- A 12-year-old girl has died following a weekend go-kart accident in Marinette County. The incident occurred just before 3:00 Saturday afternoon in the Town of Grover. Marinette County Sheriff Jerry Sauve reports a go-kart operating on private property on Town Line Road struck a parked truck and the driver, a 12-year-old Madison Pluger of Spencer, Wisconsin suffered shoulder and internal injuries. Pluger was transported to the Oconto Hospital where she passed away several hours later from complications of the internal injuries sustained. Pluger was visiting family where the accident occurred in Grover. The incident remains under investigation.
