11/01/2019- Voters in Menominee head to the polls next Tuesday to decide on some City Council seats. In Ward 1, Jacqueline Nutter and Kris Rusch face off. Scott Christiansen is challenging incumbent Steve Fifarek for the Ward 2 spot. Incumbent Dennis Klitzke is being challenged by Ed Smith in Ward 3. Council member Frank Pohlmann is running unopposed for another term in Ward 4. Also running unopposed is Jean Stegeman, who’s seeking a third term as Mayor of the City of Menominee. The Menominee City Clerk/Treasurer’s Office will be open this Saturday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. for citizens to register to vote in person and for those who wish to vote absentee for next week’s election. Polls will be open Tuesday from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.
