03/05/2019- “Some-bunnies” been busy making sure every kid has a basket full of goodies to enjoy this Easter. The City of Marinette is again sponsoring the Easter Basket Project for area communities where pre-filled baskets are donated through local crisis agencies, schools, hospitals, and churches to children in need. The City is currently seeking the help of businesses, organizations, and individuals who are interested in contributing pre-made baskets or making an item or monetary donation to the project. Those preparing baskets are asked to identify whether it’s intended for a boy or girl and the approximate age. Children receiving baskets range in age from infant to pre-teen. All donations can be brought to the Community REC Center through April 12th and anyone with questions should call 715-732-5162.
