At Tuesday night’s City of Menominee’s Common Council meeting the topic of the evening was the janitorial services that are needed for City Hall. Recently, an internal employee has retired leaving the City without any janitorial services beginning Monday, May 24th.  City Manager, Tony Graff says, “he wanted security and assurance come Monday.”

Graff states that the janitorial services do not just affect City Hall.

A motion was made to move forward with janitorial services to begin Monday, May 24th with the Janitors Closet of Marinette. However, the council also noted that the City manger will have 90 days to advertise and secure employment of an internal employee with updates to be given to council after 60 days.
