More public gathering space is coming the Menekaunee Park. At a special Public Works meeting this week, board members approved a bid from LaCourt Cement for a 20 x 24-foot pavilion on the south side of the harbor that will mimic the design of the one on the harbor’s north side. The nearly $128000 project will be paid for using TIF funds and is expected to be complete in late summer. The Board of Public Works passed the recommendation on to the city’s full Common Council who approved it later the same night.
