A new outreach group is seeking input about risky behavior in our communities. Communities That Care of Marinette and Menominee Counties is a group of residents that meet as work groups monthly to determine and seek solutions for the root causes of many different problem behaviors. In collaboration with the Healthy Youth Coalition, the CTC identified five of the most critical risk and protective factors in our community. Karianne Lesperance says they’re now asking residents to narrow down that list to the top two factors they feel the CTC should focus on for the next two years.
Lesperance says while the survey used to identify the top five factors focuses on area youth, the work the CTC does is aimed at improving the lives of all residents.
Residents can provide their feedback online at ctcmarinettemenominee.org or at several area businesses. Voting runs through June 1st.
