07/30/2019- You can travel through almost 70 years of music in just one evening at an event coming up in Crivitz. Sounds of the Decades takes place this Saturday, August 3rd, at the Crivitz Community Veterans Park featuring four bands who’ve reunited for a day full of entertainment. Organizer Bob Berndt says the music will span from the 50s to current hits and they’re expecting a big turnout.
While there’s no cost to attend, Berndt says proceeds from other sales and activities on the grounds will support ongoing efforts to bring some upgrades to the park, specifically, the construction of a bandshell for performances just like this.
Sounds of Decades also includes food trucks, 50/50 raffles, a 50s and 60s dance contest, and bouncy houses for kids. The event runs from 3:30 until 11:30 p.m.
