A plea deal is reached in a Marinette County drug case. 26-year-old Davin Veir-Washington of Wauwatosa was in Marinette County Court Tuesday and pleaded guilty to one count of Posession with Intent to Deliver Heroin stemming from a March traffic stop in Middle Inlet. Veir-Washington was a passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over and allegedly tried to hide seven grams of cocaine and three grams of heroin in the car as the officer approached. As part of Tuesday’s plea deal, another felony charge of Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine charge was dismissed but will be read in at sentencing. Veir-Washington is scheduled to be sentenced August 28th.
