02/21/2019- The clock is winding down for property owners with delinquent 2017 taxes in Menominee County. County Treasurer Diane Lesperance is urging those residents to make their payment by February 28th to prevent property forfeiture. She adds payments made after that deadline will not prevent property forfeiture and will carry with it some hefty penalties and higher interest costs. Property owners with delinquent 2017 taxes should have already received a forfeiture notice. Anyone with questions about these payments or the forfeiture process can call the Menominee County Treasurer’s Office at 906-863-5548.
