Kowalski has been on the council since 2012, serving on all committee’s and chairing many over her tenure. Currently, Kowalski serves as chair of  Parks and Recreation, Finance Committee, and is the Harbor Commission President. When asked what the city is most in need of Kowalski says, “we need affordable housing for the average individual.”

Kowalski says, “if reelected I will keep the projects started moving forward and seek new projects and opportunities for the growth of the city.”

Kowalski says, “she is passionate about city government and enjoys what she is doing.” While Kowalski admitted, she did not realize what it meant to keep things moving forward back in 2012 when she first began on city council. Now, she doesn’t want to stop. She would like to finish what she has started. Most of all. She wants to keep the city of Marinette…moving forward.
