02/05/2019- Chocolate lovers rejoice: the All Things Chocolate Fundraiser benefitting Respite Care of Marinette and Menominee Counties is back this week. The event takes place Thursday, February 7th from 4:30 until 7:30 PM at the Riverside Golf Club in Menominee. Judy Bramschreiber with Respite Care says about 20 vendors will be on site offering up samples of delicious and unique chocolate-inspired creations.
Respite Care is a volunteer-based program that offers in-home support for those caring for a loved one who may be elderly, disabled, or terminally ill. Bramschreiber says the proceeds from the fundraiser are used to provide valuable client education.
The event also features raffles and a live auction. Tickets for the All Things Chocolate fundraiser are $15 in advance or $18 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased at Jack’s Fresh Market, Marinette County Elderly Services, the ADRC in Marinette, or online at mmrespitecare.org.
