05/31/2019- One person was killed in a rollover accident in Oconto County Wednesday afternoon. The incident occurred just before 3:00 Wednesday near the intersection of Highway 141 and County A in Lena. When authorities with the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office arrived on-scene they found a vehicle that had rolled over into a retention pond with a woman, the lone occupant of the vehicle, still inside. She was extricated and transported to the hospital where she later died. The victim’s name has not yet been released and an investigation into what caused the crash is ongoing.
