07/19/2018- The City of Menominee is looking for information about the unauthorized opening of fire hydrants within the city. The incidents occurred on June 17th and July 7th and resulted in the release of 900-thousand gallons of water. Officials say the release put the city on the verge of issuing a “Boil Water Alert.” Anyone who may have witnessed someone tampering with the fire hydrants is asked to contact the Menominee Police Department or Crime Stoppers of Marinette and Menominee Counties.
