05/17/2019- NWTC- Marinette has a new dean and she comes from just up the road. Dr. Jennifer Flatt was named to the campus’ top post this week. Dr. Flatt is no stranger to higher education in the area. She comes to NWTC from the UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus where she spent the last 19 years in various roles include Associate Campus Dean for Academic Affairs and First Year Program Coordinator. Dr. Flatt has also won numerous awards for teaching English, Writing, Spanish, Gender Studies, and First Year Seminar. Representatives at NWTC say her leadership and commitment to student success make her an asset to the school. Dr. Flatt earned Bachelor’s Degrees at UW-Eau Claire, a Master’s from University of Minnesota- Duluth, and her PhD in English from Loyola University in Chicago.
