04/03/2019- Officials have announced the indictment of the suspect in the murder of a South Dakota woman found dismembered in Menominee Township. Monday, the Yankton County, South Dakota Grand Jury indicted 45-year-old Stephen Falkenberg on one count of 2nd Degree Murder and one count of 1st Degree Manslaughter. Both charges carry a possible life sentence. Falkenberg is accused of killing Tamara LaFramboise in South Dakota and disposing of her body in the Little River last month. An autopsy has been performed, but the results are pending. The investigation continues in Menominee County and it’s not yet known if Falkenberg will face additional charges in Michigan. Falkenberg is being held in South Dakota on a one-million-dollar cash bond.
