01/04/2019- A Green Bay man is in Marinette County Court on repeat drunk driving charges. 70-year-old David R Weber was arrested in Crivitz in August after he was reportedly driving erratically through town. He eventually stopped in a grocery store parking lot and when police approached, he told them he thought he was in Suamico. Officers allegedly found two bottles of flavored vodka in Weber’s vehicle- one of which was empty and the other about two-thirds full. A field sobriety test was administered and Weber blew a 0.15 in a preliminary breath test. He’s now been charged with OWI 5th or 6th and Operating with a Prohibited Blood Alcohol Content 5th or 6th,, both of which he’s plead not guilty to. A two-day jury trial in the matter was scheduled during Weber’s status conference Thursday. The trial is expected to begin April 2nd and a pre-trial conference has also been scheduled for March 18th.
