This will be the third year that every kindergarten student at schools across Marinette and Menominee Counties have an account established for them by the M&M Community Foundation. “The future fund is designed to encourage hope, build savings, assist with career training/post-secondary education expenses, and increase financial literacy” says Foundation Executive Director Paula Gruszynski.

Gruszynski says, “The future fund enrollment process is managed by six different financial partners because we want to shop local.”

Parent and Guardians will receive a packet of information upon the start of school outlining the future fund along with a piggy bank from their partner institution. The goal of the future fund is to build a one-million-dollar endowment to fully fund the promise that was made to the children.
