08/27/2019- A Keshena, Wisconsin man makes his initial appearance in Marinette County Court on a drugged driving charge. 53-year-old Merlin Wilber was arrested in May following a traffic stop in Marinette. The police K9 gave a positive indication for the presence of drugs and, after a roadside evaluation and talking with responding officers, Wilber admitted to being under the influence of marijuana. Wilber had three children, all under the age of 10, in the vehicle with him at the time and is now being charged with one count of operating with a restricted controlled substance- 4th offense. He’s due back in court September 6th for a preliminary hearing.
