A Little Chute High School teacher is in Marinette County Court on sexual assault charges. 45-year-old Jason LaVigne of Appleton made his initial appearance Thursday. He’s facing one count of third-degree sexual assault for allegedly giving alcohol to a 16-year-old girl and then sexually assaulting her during a trip to a cabin in the Town of Stephenson earlier this month. Judge Jim Morrison set LaVigne’s bail at $25000. He’s due back in court June 25th for an adjourned initial appearance. The Little Chute School District has placed LaVigne on administrative leave.
