It’s time for High School Basketball in Michigan and the Menominee Boys have three games lined up this week and the Girls open their season on Friday.  Tuesday the boys play at North Central at 6:30pm.  Thursday they will be at Ashwaubenon with a 7:15pm tipoff. And while the boys head to Marquette Friday, the girls open at Escanaba 6:30.  Because of NASCAR Races on Classic Hits 103.7, the Tuesday and Thursday night boys games will be heard on WAGN AM1340 and FM 100.1.  On  Friday we’ll carry the Girls game on Classic Hits 103.7  where the rest of the games all season will be heard as usual. All three games will also be on the Classic Hits 103.7 stream. So join Josh Kellner for Menominee Maroons Basketball starting this Tuesday Night.

The WIAA Girls Basketball Tournament begins this week.

The Girls start tomorrow night with Crivitz at Gillett in Division 4 and STAA at Lena in Division 5.  The winner of that game will play Suring Friday night.  Other Friday night games include Marinette at Shawano in Division 2, Oconto Falls at Peshtigo in Division 3, Coleman at Waubeno-Laona in Division 4, and Wausaukee at Niagara in Division 5.

The WIAA Wrestling Sectionals were held Saturday.
