08/07/2020- A waterfall tour is a great way to spend a day in Marinette County and while finding them is sometimes half the fun, County tourism officials say relying on technology to get you there isn’t necessarily the best bet. Economic Development and Tourism Director Jennifer Short says they’ve received reports from the Sheriff’s and Parks Departments that some waterfall visitors are finding themselves on more of an adventure than they bargained for.

Short says, unfortunately, getting those web maps updated to keep people on the correct vehicle route isn’t a quick or easy process. She says in the meantime, the County will be focusing on updating physical signage around these parks and waterfalls to ensure guests can get to where they’re headed safely and efficiently.
