A presentation being held this Thursday will look deeper at the impact of legalizing marijuana for recreational use. The session is being hosted by the Healthy Youth Coalition, Communities that Care of Marinette and Menominee Counties, and the Rocky Mountain High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area and examines meaningful statistics following Colorado’s legalization of the drug. Chelsey Clarke is a primary contributor to the annual Rocky Mountain HIDTA regional threat assessment, as well as a leader in the Colorado Heroin Response Work Group and will be on site to answer questions. This November, Michigan voters will take to the polls to decide on the legalization of recreational marijuana in the state. The legalization session takes place at the NWTC Marinette campus and begins at 6:00 PM.
