busy construction season in the City of Marinette is about to get underway.  The City Council approved contracts for road and utility projects on portions of Maple Street and Dunlap Avenue, Colfax Street, Mill Street, and State Street through City Park.  Barley Construction was the low bidder for all the contracts, which total over $2.1 million dollars.

The council also approved a contract with Pride Builders for a storage building addition at the fire department.


The Marinette City Council approved a professional services agreement to have Ayres and Associates take a do a pedestrian safety study due to relocated and increased parking in the area of Stanton Street and Ludington Street.  The cost of the study is estimated at $6,000 and the report will be due May 3rd.
