The Marinette County Board of Supervisors voted yesterday during their monthly meeting on the 2024 budget and tax levy. The debt service tax rate will increase from point 18 to point 77. This will affect property taxes in Marinette County. Property owners can expect to see a 59-cent increase per $1000 on their 2024 tax bill. The board also set the 2024 budget by increasing it 9 percent from last year’s $69 million to now $75 million. The tax levy and the budget both passed 20 yes to 5 no.
