03/23/2020- Marinette County, in light of the ever-changing COVID-19 situation, is restricting or suspending access to a number of County offices or facilities until further notice. All County staff have been instructed to discourage face-to-face meetings and to utilize other means of operation and communication with the public like phone or email. The Sheriff’s Office and County Jail have suspended all visitation at this time and if residents need to visit the Law Enforcement Center, they are asked to call ahead. Marinette County Health and Human Services Department has also limited or suspended non-essential group meetings and educational programs at the time and a majority of ADRC services and activities have been suspended. The public is encouraged to call the specific County office prior to attempting to visit the office to determine whether or not that office is open to the public or if there is an alternative to that face-to-face interaction.
