Marinette County’s Fall Color Tour kicks off tomorrow, featuring three self-guided driving tours, and runs through October 24th. “We’ve put together three self-paced itineraries for fall color-seekers to explore Marinette County’s peak locations, including stunning waterfalls; picturesque parks; scenic hiking trails, and canopied backgrounds, “ says Marinette County Development and Tourism Director Jennifer Short.

“The Wine, Cheese, and Wildlife Route is the southern route and covers 70 miles and the All-Things Autumn Route is the Northern Route.  The Waterfall Route is the fall drive’s original course, started in 2020, “ says Short.

While on the routes there are photo booths available for photo opportunities. There are also large wooden leaf markers on the side of the road to steer you in the direction of the fall colors as well. Maps are also available for free at the Marinette Welcome Center or online at therealnorth.com or on Facebook at the real north Marinette county.
