10/22/2019- Skeletons, scarecrows, ghosts, and more will take to the streets of Marinette and Menominee this week. Businesses in both cities are taking part in the annual Downtown Trick or Treat event October 24th from 3 until 5 p.m. Participating businesses will display an orange sign in their storefront. Drivers are reminded to slow down and be alert when traveling through these areas and anticipate heavy traffic. Trick-or-Treaters and the adults they’re with also need to use caution while walking along the roadway and only cross the street at corners using traffic signals and crosswalks. Though not official city-sanctioned events, residential Trick or Treat hours for Halloween night are recommended from 4 until 6 p.m.
