The Menominee County Board has a new leader. The board voted to make District Three Commissioner Larry Phelps their new Chairperson. Commissioner Jerry Piche who previously held the position, chose to not run again.   Commissioner Bill Cech was elected Vice-Chair at the Board’s reorganization meeting Tuesday.  The Board voted to hold all meeting in 2021 at the Courthouse. In the past, the board alternated between the courthouse and the Annex in Stephenson, but during the COVID era, the Courthouse is the only location where virtual attendance can be done.
