Menominee County Commissioner Dave Prestin has tossed his hat into the ring and is running as a Republican candidate for the Michigan House of Representatives 108th District. Prestin says, “I am running out of a sense of duty.”

Prestin says, “I’m a private sector guy. I don’t make promises I can’t keep. I don’t talk about subjects or make promises on subjects I don’t know or have the knowledge of.”

Prestin is running for the termed-out Michigan House of Representatives Beau Lafave in the 108th District. He joins fellow opponents Republicans Casey Hoffman and Mark Simon.
