08/16/2018- A Hazardous Waste Collection Day will be held for Menominee County residents this Saturday at the Menominee Municipal Complex. The event offers residents the chance to easily and safely dispose of household hazardous waste including cleaning products, household chemicals, paint, and mercury products. In addition, a private vendor will be on site to accept used tires for a fee of $3 per standard-size tire. Tires can either be on or off the rim and prices will be negotiated for larger tires. Residents will be required to show an ID when dropping their items off and people are asked to access the drop-off site on 23rd Avenue from 13th Street near the DPW Garage. The Hazardous Waste Collection is scheduled from 8:00 AM until noon, but may end earlier if the county reaches its fund limit before noon.
